Fluxes and flux-gels MULTICORE (Henkel)

APPLICATIONS
Multicore Hydro-X/20 Water Soluble Flux is formulated for use on electronic assemblies which have been designed for water cleaning and will therefore meet the demand for those fluxes whose residues need not be removed in CFC type cleaning solvents.
A number of safety features have been built into the formulation of Hydro-X/20, particularly the fact that residues after soldering do not create excessive foam in the washing water and can be considered safe for disposal.

NO CLEAN FLUX
Multicore R41-01i is a rosin based no clean flux from the pioneers of “no clean” technology for surfaces with poor solderability.

MFR301™ Liquid Flux is a no clean, high activity liquid flux for surfaces with poor solderability from the pioneers of “no clean” technology. Fast soldering on conventional leaded and SMD components – no bridges or icicles. Exceptional through-hole penetration. Sustained performance for maximum process window. No cleaning – reduces costs. Minimal residues to interfere with ATE probes without cleaning. Compatible with rosin based surface preservatives.

REWORK FLUXES
Multifix 425-01 and 450-01 are tacky fluxes designed for use in a wide range of electronics assembly and rework processes. They represent a range of activities and residue levels to meet different customer requirements.

Features
Flux Thinners the major use is in thinning liquid fluxes in wave soldering machines. Fluxes in wave soldering machines lose solvent by evaporation and this has to be replaced from time to time. This loss of solvent is monitored by checking the specific gravity of the flux. The specific gravity is returned to its original figure by the addition of Multicore PC70i to the flux with stirring. The precise volume to be added will depend on the specific gravity and volume of the flux in the machine. Multicore PC70i is suitable for use in automatic flux density controllers.
